HIPS at U.S. Conference on AIDS!

Two HIPS staff members, Executive Director Cyndee Clay and Client Advocate DeWayne Thomas received support to attend the 2010 US Conference on AIDS. Mr. Thomas was awarded the REALLY BIG DEAL scholarship to attend the conference as part of HIPS’s participation in the 2010 Equal Access Initiative, which also includes a dedicated computer for clients to research information on HIV and access to care. HIPS Executive Director, Cyndee Clay will be conducting one of the full day seminars on increasing treatment adherence and removing barriers to care for transgender women and sex workers.
